1. Agreement
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Mulligan app (“Mulligan”, “the Service”), operated by [Your registered business name] (“we”, “us”). By installing or using Mulligan, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not install the app.
2. The Service
Mulligan adds self-service order editing to your Shopify store — letting your customers change addresses, cancel or reduce items, add items, swap variants, and make related changes within the limits and safety rules you configure. The features available are those described on this site and in the app, and may change as the product evolves.
3. Eligibility & accounts
You must have an active Shopify store and the authority to install apps on it. You are responsible for your store, your configuration of Mulligan, and for the changes your customers make under the rules you enable.
4. Fees & billing
- Mulligan is offered as a single plan, Mulligan Pro, at $9.99/month, with a 7-day free trial.
- Billing is handled by Shopify and appears on your Shopify invoice. Your use is also subject to Shopify’s billing terms.
- Charges recur monthly until you uninstall or cancel. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law.
- We may change pricing with reasonable notice; changes take effect on your next billing cycle.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the Service, including by attempting to:
- circumvent its safety rules to enable fraudulent order changes;
- access another merchant’s data;
- disrupt, reverse-engineer, or overload the Service; or
- use it in violation of Shopify’s terms or applicable law.
6. Your responsibilities
You decide which edits to enable and the rules that apply (editing window, holds, refunds, etc.). You are responsible for ensuring those settings suit your business, taxes, and fulfillment. Mulligan provides safety rails, but the configuration and outcomes are yours.
7. Third-party services
Mulligan works with Shopify and, where you connect them, services such as ChannelDock and an address-validation provider. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms, and we are not responsible for them.
8. Availability
We work to keep Mulligan available and reliable, but the Service is provided “as is” without guarantees of uninterrupted operation. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features.
9. Disclaimers & limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided without warranties of any kind, and our total liability arising from your use of Mulligan is limited to the fees you paid for the Service in the three months before the claim.
10. Termination
You may stop using Mulligan at any time by uninstalling it from your Shopify admin. We may suspend or terminate access if these Terms are breached. On termination, data is handled as described in our Privacy Policy.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as the app changes. Material updates will be reflected by the “last updated” date above; continued use after a change means you accept it.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of [Your country/state], without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
